1. Custom Order Requests

All Expressive DeZien products are handmade to order. We also accept requests for commissioned artwork, custom graphic design, personalized products, business branding, and other creative services. Submitting a custom order request does not constitute a purchase, establish final pricing, or guarantee project acceptance. Expressive DeZien reserves the right to review, decline, or request modifications to proposed projects.

2. Customer Supplied Artwork and Copyright

Customers confirm that they own or have obtained the necessary legal permissions to use all submitted artwork, logos, photographs, text, trademarks, and other creative materials. Customers are responsible for ensuring submitted materials do not infringe another person's or business's intellectual property rights.
By submitting materials, customers grant Expressive DeZien permission to use, reproduce, and modify those materials as reasonably necessary to review, design, produce, and fulfill the requested project. This permission does not transfer ownership of the customer's original materials. Expressive DeZien reserves the right to request proof of authorization or decline projects involving potentially unauthorized materials.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, customers are responsible for claims and reasonable losses directly resulting from infringement involving materials they were not authorized to provide.

3. Design Approval and Revisions

Before production begins, customers must review and approve all applicable project specifications, including artwork, spelling, names, dates, quantities, personalization, materials, pricing, and production details. Written approval authorizes Expressive DeZien to proceed according to approved specifications once payment and other production requirements have been satisfied.
Changes requested after approval may result in additional charges or may not be possible once production begins. Any included revisions or additional design fees will be communicated as part of the individual project quotation.

4. Pricing and Payment

Custom project pricing is determined by materials, quantities, complexity, design requirements, production time, and shipping needs. Customers will receive applicable pricing and project details before confirming an order. Full payment is required before production begins unless otherwise agreed in writing. Additional work or revisions beyond the approved project scope may require additional payment.

5. Cancellations and Final Sales

All Expressive DeZien products are handmade to order and are final sale, including products that are not personalized. Standard orders cannot be canceled once placed, except where required by applicable law or expressly approved by Expressive DeZien.
For separately quoted custom projects, cancellation requests may be considered before production begins, subject to written approval and any previously disclosed charges for work or materials already committed. Once production begins, cancellations are not accepted except where required by law.
We do not accept returns or exchanges or provide refunds for change of mind, personal preference, or customer supplied errors, except where required by applicable law.

6. Handmade Variations

Because each item is individually created, slight variations in appearance, placement, etching depth, texture, color, and finish may occur. These characteristics are part of the handmade process and do not constitute defects unless the finished product materially differs from approved specifications or applicable product standards.

7. Production Timelines and Shipping

Production timelines vary according to project complexity, materials, and quantities. Estimated timelines will be communicated before order approval. Large custom, bulk, wedding, corporate, and event orders may require additional shipping charges. Applicable charges will be disclosed before purchase.
Expressive DeZien currently serves customers within the United States only. Carrier delays and delivery issues are addressed under our Shipping Policy, subject to applicable law.

8. Shipping Damage and Workmanship Claims

Customers should inspect their orders promptly upon delivery. Visible shipping damage should be reported within 48 hours of confirmed delivery whenever reasonably possible. Workmanship defects should be reported immediately upon discovery. This reporting expectation does not limit rights or remedies provided by applicable law.
Customers must provide documentation sufficient to verify the claim, including:
1. Original, unedited digital photographs with date and time information when available.
2. A full photograph of the damaged product together with the shipping box and original packaging.
3. Clear photographs of the entire product and close views of the damage.
4. Photographs of the outside of the shipping box and any visible damage.
5. Photographs of all original protective packaging.
6. A clear photograph of the shipping label.
7. The order number and a description of the reported issue.
8. Additional reasonable documentation if requested.

Customers must retain the damaged product, shipping box, shipping label, and all original packaging until the claim is completely resolved.
Expressive DeZien may review photographs, original image metadata, delivery records, and additional documentation when determining claim eligibility. Alternative evidence may be accepted when photo metadata is unavailable.
Damage caused by improper handling, misuse, intentional alteration, accidental breakage after delivery, or normal wear is not eligible for complimentary replacement unless required by applicable law. A photograph of a damaged item does not, by itself, establish that the damage occurred during shipping.
Qualifying items with verified shipping damage or defects in workmanship will be replaced with the same item and design originally ordered, subject to applicable law. Our standard remedy is replacement rather than a refund. Nothing in this policy limits legally required remedies. Additional procedures are described in our Return and Refund Policy.

9. Ownership of Commissioned Artwork

Original Expressive DeZien artwork, designs, photographs, and other creative materials remain the intellectual property of Expressive DeZien unless otherwise agreed in writing. For commissioned graphic design and original artwork projects, ownership, licensing, and commercial usage rights will be established through the applicable written project agreement.
Payment does not automatically transfer copyright ownership. Preexisting artwork lawfully owned by the customer remains the property of its rightful owner.

10. Acceptance of Custom Project Terms

Customers will receive applicable project specifications, pricing, production requirements, and design approval information before confirming an order. By approving the final project details and completing the agreed payment after receiving access to these terms, customers acknowledge the applicable Custom Order Policy and Terms of Service, subject to applicable law.
Submitting a quote request alone does not establish agreement to purchase the proposed project.

11. Additional Store Policies

Custom orders are also governed by our Terms of Service, Return and Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy. For matters concerning personal information, our Privacy Policy governs. Nothing in these policies overrides mandatory consumer protection rights.
